Hole 1 - par 4
The Orchards opening hole features a dog-legged left, slightly uphill par 4. The right side is lined with neighborhood homes, while the left steeply drops off into thick rough and towering trees that lead to a creek. The green contains a slight false front, and depending on the pin location, can be very tricky to read.
Tee off using a long iron or fairway wood aiming down the middle of the fairway. if your shot shape is a draw, your ball will take the top of the hill back down to the green. Your approach should be a short iron or wedge into the left-center of the green to stay below the flag.
